This policy explains what information Pundit collects, why, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need to run the game well.

1. Information we collect

• Account details — such as your display name, username, and email address.
• Gameplay data — the leagues you're in, predictions you make, and your scores.
• Device & usage data — basic technical information to keep the app reliable and secure.

2. How we use it

We use your information to run your leagues, show leaderboards, deliver reminders you opt into, keep the service secure, and improve the experience. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing

Your display name, avatar, and scores are visible to members of leagues you join — that's the point of a shared leaderboard. We share data with service providers who help us operate the app, under appropriate safeguards.

4. Advertising

The free version of Pundit shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect and process device and advertising identifiers, approximate (IP‑based) location, and ad‑interaction data. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown, and on iOS we request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency — you can decline and still use the app with non‑personalised ads. You can review Google's practices in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and manage ad personalisation in your device settings. Pundit Premium removes ads entirely.

5. Your choices

You can edit your profile, manage notification preferences, and delete your account at any time — in the app, or from any browser via our account deletion page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your data.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period. When you delete your account, your profile, email, sign-in methods, devices, and preferences are removed immediately; predictions and league standings are kept in anonymised form so other members' leagues stay intact, alongside purchase records we must retain for accounting.

7. Children

Pundit is intended for users who meet the minimum age required in their region. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone below that age.
